The series earned its five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. The year 2002 saw her win the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. In the years 2008 and 2010 she reprised the character in the film Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. In the 1980s, she played leading roles as a Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall's character on the HBO television show Sex & the City is the most memorable. The well-known actress' performance as Samantha Jones has been a significant event in her career. She was a star on the national stage and was recognized internationally by appearing on the show. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Most famously, she is known for her performance in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. The film that won each of an award, the Golden Palm Award and an Oscar in the 1960 Cannes Film Festival and also was a huge commercial and critic success, was also awarded the Oscar. Born in Skane Sweden she had a career as a fashion model prior to her acting career. Then she won the Miss Sweden contest. After moving to the US she started acting in various films in small roles. She had her first role on screen in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in the role of the role of a Venusian. Following that following her appearance as an unproven newcomer on the set of Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most promising category.
